We believe transition-related aesthetics care is integral for the transition process, and as such should be fully reimbursed by insurance providers and offered for free to those without insurance.

Until this is recognized as a medical necessity by insurers, we are committed to providing lower-cost dermal fillers to our clients in need. Other products and services are available at a discounted rate for True Self clients.

GENDER & IDENTITY AFFIRMING CARE

Team North Bay believes every human is beautiful and unique—and every human should love and recognize themself when they look in the mirror. We consider it an immense privilege to provide care tailored to each of our clients.

We work closely with consultants and clients in the community to provide the best possible care environment, use your correct name and pronoun (regardless of what is on your ID), and meet your every expectation in a comfortable, trusting environment. We also welcome your unfiltered feedback at any time.

All of our treatment plans are client-led from start to finish. As long as it is safe to do so, we will happily support you to achieve your goals.

WHAT SERVICES DO WE OFFER?

We find clients often appreciate a combination of treatment modalities that work together to alter dimensions and change balance in the face and neck. Here are some examples of treatments we provide:

1. Dermal fillers (such as Juvederm and Restylane) can be used to create high or lower cheekbones, create larger lips, augment and widen the jawline and create a square, wider chin, or a longer, rounded chin.

2. Neurorelaxers (such as Botox and Dysport) can be used to reduce the masseter (chewing) muscle on the side of the jaw, creating a slimmer jawline.

We are aware that the transgender community is often subjected to inequitable treatment in healthcare spaces. Because of this, we make every effort to provide you with a radically welcoming environment.

Team North Bay participates in trauma-informed care trainings and continues to learn and grow every day to serve our clients better. We are committed to proactively soliciting feedback on how we’re doing, and appreciate any opportunity to serve our clients with excellence.
